EXOMIND® + ExoTMS®

A modern TMS option for Major Depressive Disorder.

EXOMIND uses targeted magnetic stimulation to activate brain regions involved in mood regulation. Treatment is non-invasive, requires no anesthesia, and sessions are typically under 30 minutes.

What is TMS?

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) uses an electromagnetic coil placed against the scalp to deliver magnetic pulses to targeted areas of the brain. It does not involve surgery, anesthesia, or an implanted device. Patients remain awake during treatment and typically return to normal activities afterward.

What to expect

  • You remain awake and seated comfortably.
  • The applicator is positioned against the scalp.
  • You may feel tapping or pulsing sensations.
  • No anesthesia is required.
  • Most patients can return to normal daily activities immediately afterward.

TMS can cause side effects. Temporary scalp discomfort or headache can occur, and rare serious risks are reviewed during screening. Dr. Griffith will review contraindications, including relevant implanted metal or electronic devices and seizure risk, before treatment.
